if the reporter has a couple of dollars to go to the registry, he will also find the liens against the homeowners for non payment of maintenance fees.

Would this be featured on any financial disclosures, i wonder.

free electricity is window dressing before the election for something that already exists.
people can now, and have been able to for years, receive assistance to pay utility bills from social services, to a cap of 600 per year, aha, that is 50 per month.
with that, comes the usual vetting by social workers who decide 'who is eligible''.

might as well add ' free food' to the flyer because they give out 80(eighty) dollars per month for one adult person, and up to 180 (one hundrend eighty) per month for a family.

another optical illusion to fool uninformed voters.

the usury law caps interest rates at 20% per year.

the amount of money paid back to payday lenders appears to be higher than that, especially since those are short term loans, from some ads I saw a while ago, you repay principal plus 25% over a period of 9 months. If these payday lenders have a lawyer they are likely padding the maximum rate loan with some other lending or processing fees to stay under the limits of the law.

this will be the target of the govt., and will not affect mortgages, as those will always be below the cap.
