when i peruse the obituaries, for years i have noticed that there is a great incidence of cancer in grand bahama, and i wonder why.

i think there are long standing environmental issues in addition to these.

i always find it risible when I read this stuff about cable bahamas.

in almost twenty years, i paid the late fee exactly once. that was my fault

My july bill came down, because i reduced some of my subscription, and they credited the difference to my account.

i watched some of the free channels briefly in july, but now those channels are behind the paywall.

if someone did not order the service, i am sure cable would reverse the charges.

what is wrong with the debit cards? they are cheaper than cheques or atm withdrawal fees.

you also do not have to drive around to pay bills.

the debit cards also enable you to purchase online. some may say that takes away local jobs, but, for some like me, odd clothing size, medical supplies cannot be bought locally.

i think they do include freight to the family island, as explicitly charged by the wholesaler, or paid to the mailboat.

the mailboat is subsidized.

the people in the family islands do complain about price controls, and i think they visit the islands more often than road traffic.

the govt would make much more money sending the people to check for vehicle violations in the family islands.

this is not to say price control is correct.

i avoid cost shift markup by making my own food from price cotrlled or sale items.

people learn, solomons fresh market on harbour bay is a desert most of the time now, people do not pay 9 dollars for half a sandwich anymore.

i think people want to hear an anti corruption campaign, austerity and fiscal responsibility.

fnm is failing to seize the day, so is the DNA.

the party will just be in someone else's house.

my father paid for health insurance all his life, for the whole family.

he used it somewhat for diabetes care, but i believe his savings in premiums would have been cheaper.

now my mother was afflicted with cancer and required multiple operations, treatments, including home care treatments, etc... it is shocking how much the so called compreensive insurance really covers, and when required to go out of network, little or nothing is covered, my father's savings were depleted. travel costs, home care costs, all that is extra, and the bills the hospitals send are way above what it would be if he had no insurance.

that was when i dropped my insurance.
