and pindling was 37 when he became prime minister.

the three score and ten crew is too old, can never be too rich.

obama and trudeau were heading huge countries in their 40s.

actually VAT and duties run concurrently in many countries, as can be seen here:
http://www.uscib.org/valueadded-taxes-v…

except that, for most countries, the average duty rate is much lower than that of the bahamas.

i think the bahamas has ten years to gradually reduce its average duty rate.

colorful characters, to say the least.

people need change but they need new names.

the people who have been active for 20 or more years need to make way for new people

similar experiences are to be had by expatriates who wait for all kinds of permits and applications at the immigration department as well for years.

but people do not care beause they are foreigners.

this is hilarious.

all of them are flouting the law with no insurance, no inspection. no wonder they thought nothing of blocking the public road.

i hope the union leaves them in the lurch. they deserve it.

if i can hazard a guess, it is the same old as in many govt departments.

1. buy some computers with the updated technology.
2. make no provisions for the maintenance, so the machines are retired before their time and not replaced.
3. after x number of years, only 1-2 are working, but it is not worth it to fix the old ones because now they are obsolete.
4. new contract issued for new state of the art machines

i think this process was at play last year at road traffic.

you can't criticise albury's, because they pay customs duties on packaging.

the lima beans and peas are not produced at home, but imported in large containers and packaged here.

mind you, their tomato sauce and tomato paste are way better than the american brands, way better for peas and rice.

bamsi does not produce much, at least as yet.
