right and to get vat free shopping is going to be a hassle with tourists giving up a receipt at the border bahamians and work permit holders not eligible discrimination

a columnist in the punch a couple of weeks ago posited that the raids are necessary to make way in the hospital for bahamians once mandatory national health is introduced.
as a worker for a private employer and being under 60, i pay for the prescription drug plan for years and have never been able to use it.
if i pay for this national health insurance, it better be immediate benefit.

in our family we will no longer eat in restaurants
we also will no longer use clothes softener and will buy cheaper products
we also bought extra plates and cups and will no longer buy styrofoam and other disposable products
it is in these little things that the consumer will save money ans contract the economy and reduce jobs.
i would hate to have a job explaining vat to anyone, just saying stupid things all day long with a straight face.

mr roberts is right.
the only items which duty reduced by 20% was stove and refrigerator, low volume and slow moving with 25 year expected life.
washers, with 5 year expected life stayed high
duty free stuff will be an automatic 7.5% increase. My blood pressure, diabetes and prescription glasses are automatically more expensive.

i stocked up on things but the dog food is gone from the shelves so i only have 3 weekes supply.
