Some Bahamians are unbelievable. Some of you cry and make noise of the illegal immigration situation this country faces. Now the government wants to introduce a National ID and severely deal with the immigrants who is taking jobs, health care and education from Bahamians and yet they still complain. Believe it or not Bahamians are the ones who encourage these people to come here. Some Bahamians do not want to work, uninterested in education and feel public medical health care is only for poor people. As a result this slackness encourage foreigners to come and utilize what Bahamians do not want. Bahamians need to come together and report any illegal immigrant they know of and the person who hire them at the same time work and take advantage what we as Bahamians can get for little to nothing and stop believing what you see on the gangster rap videos. If we do not come together we will be second citizens in our own country.

We all play a role in the increase and decrease of crime. The government nor its arm forces can do it all. It takes every Bahamian to work together to solve this problem. If we know of any one who is indulging in criminal activity report them. If your children coming home with items which you didn't buy it deal with them. But when you wanna point fingers at the government that shows you do not wanna play your role in the fight against crime. So for 2014 all Bahamians should work together and squash all illegal and social ill that plague this country. If not we will be second class citizens in our our country.

This aint right. The F.N.M was the same people who was bickering about the current government regularizing the Web Shop Industry. Now The F.N.M Chairman wants the current government to consider regularizing the Web Shop racket. The F.N.M obviously played politics on The Bahamian people. As The Bahamas move towards first world status through beautiful, talented and intelligent men and woman i feel some Bahamians can handle gambling. As for the referendum if people knew and understood what they were voting for the outcome might of been different. Now other country's are collecting tax on our money when the money could have stayed here and been taxed. For The Bahamians who are politically bias do not be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.

Why Why Why are some my fellow Bahamians so negative. Bahamians often complain about reducing its dependence on the U.S.A without lowering the living conditions. Now Such opportunity has emerge and it is still a problem. Many country's around the world dream they have what Bahamians taking for a joke. I see it as a step forward for The Bahamas. For the persons who have a problem with it i will take my vacation in china and laugh in your face when i come back with items bought at a inexpensive rate and sell it to for a arm and a leg. Keep up the good work Mr Mitchel

Crime is everyone problem and everyone must work together and combat crime. So stop pointing fingers, complaining and work with the necessary agencies to combat and reduce crime. Parents need to be more patient and have a better interest in raising their children and do not take up for them when they are wrong. If you do, you are no better than the child who commits the crime. The government is doing all that it can reference to crime. But Bahamians need to come together and tackle this situation. Do not wait till crime effects you before you do something about it.

The person who stated that they don't need to carry ID or it doesn't make any sense your so wrong, I agree with the random immigration checks, if the police stops a person and you refused to give name and address or a name and address he believes is false he can arrest you for that offense and hold you until he ascertained your identity. You may be an illegal immigrant. So if you have your I.D you wouldn't have to go through the inconvenience. Now that's my five cents.

Make sense to me. Bahamians often complain about the illegal immigration situation. Now a new tactic has been exercise now some of these same Bahamians have a problem with it. They properly have forged documents. Hats off to the Immigration Officers and continue to do your jobs and to persons who have a problem can suck a lemon.
