They're talking about Idris Elba as the next Bond, fantastic. Mr. Elba could have been cast years ago as Bond, the series would be way ahead.

Now this just empirical observation, all it is. But Peter Lynch, who ran Magellan Fund and made a great deal of money for his clients picked his stocks in similar manner: by walking around the mall, observing which franchise store is busy, which one is empty, buy accordingly.
So it was a surprise to read that the FNM was defeated, in light of all the apparent support.
But then the Trib reported that a billionaire had handed out money in one, five, and ten thousand dollar blocs to people to buy votes for the PLP.
And now we read these allegations to do with a great deal of money spread about to get revenge on one's 'enemies', as well as buy influence.
Why doesn't this account ring true? Is it the many omissions? The far-fetched, gruesome details? A foot long incision with sutures every inch? Really? Remarkable.
Why do no other reports of similar malpractice exist?
What, if not the appendix, cause his reported severe pain?
What, if any, medical misadventures occurred with this individual subsequent to his return home?
Who performed the surgery, as others above, ask?
The questions write themselves after a while, don't they?
Saw it when in town a couple weeks back, all those lights in the night. They look pretty, like a Potemkin Village. Lenin was big on them, too. Fooled many western investors in the soviet experiment, ninety years ago. No gag like an old gag.

Of course, it's pure coincidence this is situated within eyeshot of the American Embassy, isn't it?
