DDK, I noticed that glaring adjective as well - highly qualified. As if the new board is to swallow all things hook, line, and sinker.
Desmond really thinks we have "STUPID" written on our foreheads. Obviously, the former board wanted too much due diligence and documentation for his "deal". They just got in the way of his and other people's pocket. Why waste these good people's time?

Malcolm, when was the last time you heard an Apology? I'm talking about an authentic apology; not one preferred with I apologize, but, or however. Merriam Webster: "an admission of error or discourtesy accompanied by an expression of regret". That's it!
We do not only wish an apology with justifications affixed at the end. If Desmond thinks himself to be a true man of integrity, he should also step back from all of this disastrous mess he alone created and publicly sanction an unbiased investigation. I agree with you that it is unlikely an unfavorable report to Desmond's detriment would be published. If it is, my confidence in Minnis would begin to be swayed back in his favor. Right now, I am ashamed of him and Desmond, and ashamed that I voted FNM.

Given today's press release by the former 3, Desmond would be wise to resign before it gets worse for him.
And I applaud the 3 amigos for sending out their side of the saga, since I'm losing confidence in Minnis by the day.
I couldn't see it clearly before, but this was a friends/lovers deal - Desmond just wants a "yes sir" boy.

Well_mudda_take_sic, I'm beginning to see what you mean. Desmond has hit rock bottom. Similar to when a child is caught in a lie and instead of coming clean, their mind goes into overdrive and the lies spewing out are just laughable.

You obviously had a personal encounter with "this lady" that did not turn out in your favour. Let it go, otherwise it will continue to eat at you.

Seriously, JohnDoes? You hear Desmond's side of the story, and because he's the boss, he's right? Remember, if something doesn't make sense, it's usually NOT true. If the 3 problematic board members were costing the country millions, how does a $45 makeup bill, a few cameras for the chairwoman's security equate to millions. Why wouldn't he at least elude to where the millions might be lost? Bout "out of respect for the former board members". SMT. He has already disrespected them by feeding us lowlies a $45 lie, as if we dumb enough fall for that. SMT!
We must begin teaching critical thinking skills in our schools, because I am astounded that people could hear one side of a story and reach a conclusion.

Why are we so gullible? Think people - what company doesn't pay for a makeup session when a planned press conference or publicized meeting is held? Photoshop aside, do you think Leon Williams was naturally flawless in all those ads? And if Darnell offered everyone security installation because of a valid threat, how is she made out to be the bad guy? Goodness man, enough of the D average mentality. It's so obvious that Bannister is grasping at straws just to sully the names of half the board. I've lost all respect for this man who has swallowed the political kool-aid and is now unaware that he is wallowing in pig slop. Grow up Desmond; stop acting like a girl that's lost her marbles to the boys.

Ms Burrows, it would help if you explained a bit more what actually occurred. Your statement doesn't say how he was disrespectful. We're a bit lost.
