If he is so innocent how come when hearing the news that the chair was reported stolen, the man in custody never made a simple phone call to say "hey I such and such have the articles in question" Furthermore how come the articles ended up near the British Colonial Hilton, is that the Government House new address. Back to my first post when the chair went missing slackness. The man found in pocession of priceles heirloom, along with the clerk whom gave away government property needs to both be before the courts, and if for some reason a third person is involved who gave permission for the man in question to pick up the throne is discovered, he too needs to join them on a seat in court seeing that they love seating furniture so much.

If their campaign left them in the hole, wonder why road works and other projects went over budget. Guess if they had win the election that would not have been an issue because the public treasury would have consume that debt in silence.

Yes the prison may be overcrowded at the time but as long as there is no threat of prisoners overpowering the guards (which was never mentioned), inmates harming each other excessively, or there is no shortage of human needs (food and water) the main focus should just be on ways to reform the inmates to a better way of life where merited. Yes election time has passed and gone but remember those nice mass gatherings of either PLP's, FNM's or DNA's. I'm sure no party leader ever once looked at the thousands of people whom had a choice of obtaining the same information from either their televisions, radio or news paper once considered overcrowding then. In fact overcrowding could be the first way to punish/reform some inmates cause I'm sure an individual accussed of a pity crime would think twice just from that experience.

The bus system would be an easy fix. For many years bus operators have had the opportunity to work at their own accord but finally its time to set guidelines and order to their functioning. Firstly, make visible all bus stops outfitted with a small check point booth. Secondly remove cash from the equation. By doing this the assurance of order can now be certain. Introduce a transport ticket which could be obtained from the N.I.B. buildings, hotels, schools, grocery/convient stores and other government buildings. Thirdly, with the booths mentioned, employ transit officials whom job would be to date/time bus tickets (one ticket per passenger per ride). By doing this buses now are certain to obtain their fares from the locations set up. On arrival to the bus stops, the buses themselves are logged in by the officials; This works along with the bus ticket eg. if a bus is logged in at say bus stop 6 @ 9:00am, to obtain a ticket which time conflicts with the time the bus made a routine stop would make that ticket void. Fourthly, with the tickets obtained from the bus operators, designate a day the operators would cash in depending on their route. Fifthly, because we all know the bus operators are not going to provide the transit officials salary, only require buses to be insured and (highly) inspected. Now because there is no license fee, the government can require a mere twenty five cents from every ticket redeemed to create the necessary payroll encountered. From this little suggestion, bus operators cry of high licensing fees are silenced, new government jobs are created, new revenue is obtained and most of all buses frequent traffic obstructions minimized/ceased.

Well Bril, notsogumble actually spoke highly of the straw vendors in a way but he himself is too dumb to notice. In his earlier post he implied that he wonder why we cant expect better of our students, but form his posting of our straw vendors outsmarting bankers from the big apple actually puts them as being more educated. Futhermore its not SOME parents whose to blame for OUR children educational outcome, its mainly jackassez like notsogumble whom steriotype ones job as degrading. This immature thinking even exists in some teachers whom get first 'chance' in discouraging our kids by making them assume that if they can't become a lawyer, policeman, doctor, teacher or even a 'banker from the big apple', they're a waste of time. And no, I am not a vendor but if I was I would say it proud because whatever in life I may have become that is not criminal I'm proud to know I could pay MY bills and support My family from the profession I choose.
