I'm sorry but they continued to operate in the dark ages......closing down for lunch?......they deserve to close just for that

Propane truck caused a fire in Harbour island?.......this is what happens when the Ministry of Works Volatile section turns a blind eye to these countless peddlers on the road selling gas.....

Crappy trucks, untrained staff, no licenses, no insurance, nothing. Of course no Business License and collecting VAT and not passing it on. Disgraceful.

Didn't Potcake want Venezuela to sell us fuel at a ridiculously cheap rate over many years??????......How is Venezuela doing now?........bankrupt by those very actions.......We would have been screwed ourselves as Shell, Texaco and Esso would have pulled out.......

Potcake doesn't know a thing about the oil and gas business......like where would we store all the fuel?......last i checked the Govt doesn't own any fuel storage in Nassau......

His energy efficient machines are only 5% duty. The whole point of his issue with Customs is that he was charged 45 %, so he over paid.....and got defrauded by the broker.....

You clearly are not a business owner with a comment like that !

I always found it strange that RBC had a branch at the airport in Nassau......consolidating that to Cable Beach or Old Fort makes sense to me.......

Spanish Wells consolidating to HI makes sense.......

I feel sorry for Bimini though.......

Govt increasing banking fees every budget, something has to tighten.....

Bruce Maura and the APD will soon price themselves out of the market.....importers face routine and regular price increases, and for which many business can not pass on to the customer. How nice for them to double their profits. It's a monopoly situation and I do not see how this has benefited the consumer.

I wholeheartedly agree, the Business License fee structure is ridiculous.....not to mention the 5 or 6 other govt approvals that you have to get to attach to the renewal. It takes forever and does hold up production, if you need to show your BL to customs or a new potential client who request to see it.

Something has to be done, as this is keeping us 133rd in the world for the ease of doing business.

The high fees being extorted? They shouldn't be in business in the first place !!!! A national lottery was the way to go. But no, Christie and his henchman took the payoffs just like from the Chinese.

Wayne Munroe is nothing but a lobbyist for these number gangsters. Why is he the new soundboard on the Tribune? tired of Daguilar I guess.

He can very well say the amount of Companies is being reduced, but there is not a reduction in the proliferation of them on every street corner in Nassau and the family islands. This is far worse than VAT in sucking the money out of the populace. The people voted NO in the referendum , but the politicians and crooked lawyers like Munroe, are getting greased.

We need to 'Drain the swamp" right here in May 2017.

What a complete bs merchant this entitled kid is.....wasting everyones time with some pipe dream of controlling the restaurant / service industry here......Firstly, leasing from somebody is never a good idea. Secondly, getting in a business that you know nothing about is another bad idea. i blame the investors for giving this idiot money, and secondly the business extending credit to him.
