Total waste of money and time, our hospital is done, it has outlived it's usefulness. We need a new hospital, government and GBPA need to get off their butts and do what is necessary. This has to stop.
Florida is literally exploding with this virus. Government cannot possibly justify opening our borders right now. This is pure insanity. If we do open this country is going to suffer and plenty Bahamians will die. Suck it up, being broke is much better than being dead. What government should be concentrating on is feeding our people while we stay isolated. Open in July and by mid-July we will be closed down again only this time with a huge number of infected....
Please think this thru and do not let the US' magical thinking sway you. The pandemic is far from over. Especially in the US. Open to Canada, European countries, put Dinisio on a plane and let him go secure us some new markets....
Now is the perfect time to disband jitney services and replace them with a responsible, safe system. Jitney drivers are pretty much all criminals, they are without a doubt the most dangerous drivers on the roads. We now have the perfect opportunity to get rid of them...
That is an excellent point! Cruise lines are notorious for low spending passengers, seems the only entity to benefit is government via departure taxes. At this point we're better off without them...
Cruise lines are in a real bind. Stay closed and die or re-open and die. They can't take another hit like the Grand Princess but at the same time they can't remain closed.
