Stop talking nonsense. BPL can not keep the light on now. No one with half a brain would consider the Bhamas for a data because of a lack of consistent electricity. Maybe once the Bahamas recognizes the power of the sun and harness that power with solar panel farms, they can begin correcting the power challenges.

Install two acres of solar panels for the 2500 EVs ... problem solved.

Those 50 kwh will get the EV driver 250 miles of travel or about a week of travel on New Providence ... better yet the EV driver needs to install solar panels and gain total independence from the bpl grid.

Our two EVs have saved us thousands of dollars in fuel and maintnance. Some on here seem to want to return to the horse and buggy days. China is eating the US's lunch in global EV sales among other consumer items as trump ruins the US economy.

Whomever did the "renovations" need to do a redo and or be sued for inadequate construction. This is unacceptable.

All crimes need to be addressed appropriately. You really want to harm tourism, do a hard crackdown on "dope smoking". A majority of our US tourist come from states were "dope smoking" is legal. If you want to increase Bahamian tourism and agriculture, relax the laws around marijuana. It's been proven to be far less harmless than alcohol.

jet skis? if this, 100 jet skis, is the US biggest issue/problem with the Bahamas, they really have no issues with the Bahamas. I would think the ambassador would be more concerned about the high-profile drug trafficking being investigated.... but I guess these half dozen jet ski issues take priority. Small minds chase small issues.
