I suppose now, our illustrious P.M. will state " The Competent Authority " now sees fit to lock us down until the infections stop or the economy crashes whichever comes first ! Well at this rate, the economy will long be destroyed before this viral invasion is over and The Bahamas will be known as " A TURD World Country "
The competent authority is an employee of the Bahamian population. Him and his coworkers were hired by the Bahamian population via the Elections and as public servants, they are required to please their employers (population) and to maintain some semblance of order and nurture the economy. Locking down the employers is destroying everything and lockdowns have proven not to work worldwide !!! Therefore he has to surround himself with intelligencia to create a plan that would save lives and the economy at the same time !!!
Paying out salaries and benefits !!! That flying circus of union bozos need to be flat out sold to the unions who think they own it and let's see how they manage with all of their stupid demands while keeping the airline running because they never ever push for productivity, their only interest is more money and selling it to them will give them the opportunity to make as much money as they think they deserve !!!
All politicians should be forced by law to experience what their electorates experience. They should be banned from having generators since the public power suppliers are so reliable, banned from having well water since WSC is so reliable, banned from taking over Bahamasair seats and book/pay for flights like everyone else has too, blocked from taking refuge in a private health facility and enjoy the profecient health care at the PMH as well as blocking these officials from exodus to the U.S.A. for medical care, stop all police escorted rides and let them sit in traffic like everyone else. I am sure if these measures where put in place where politicians get to experience what their electorates experience, then I am 110% certain that there would be a huge improvement across the board !!!
Get over it honey, 90% of anything our government is involved with turns to crap, so don't feel bad etc because they curtailed your aspirations, that, is on them, not you !!!
Lockdowns do not work. They only serve to send people into panic and hysteria. Foodstores filled to capacity on Mon, Wed, Fri with just about everone wearing an improperley fitted mask. People bum rushing the gas stations and pharmacies. Go back to a curfew and this time stop/arrest people like bar/club and restaurant owners who blatantly conduct non compliant business affairs and stop harrassing the one one people walking the streets. The small businesses are really suffering but government officials are still drawing a salary along with government staff. But I guess NO ONE will wake up until the government kitty goes dry because there is no money coming in, will they realize the destruction they imposed on us !!!
It is a shame that 5,000 ignorant people would choose to destroy a symbol that represents the historic properity of Freeport in it's heyday because of voodoo beliefs. They should instead try to emulate the success that Gateway the arch represents and strive to put Freeport back on the map. But typical of Bahamians to blame everybody and everything else for their failures instead of recognizing them and proceed to correct them instead of the usual " waiting on da gummamint to fix erryting" !!!
It is the Goverment's action of shutting down everything that is shutting down the economy. For every person that becomes a Covid victim, there are 20 people who become lockdown victims. The country is collapsing and the overpaid, safe, secure 'competent' authorities are comfortable in their grand homes eating steaks, lobster and the like because their inflated salaries are not being affected while Bahamians are being left to eat grass for dinner. The ' incompetent' authority needs to be placed where everyone else is for 3months and taste what it means for their elected authorities to suffer as they are suffering. I have not heard a word about "we will take a 50% cut in salary" to send the other 50% to help the needy. Bahamians on the whole need to simply ignore this lockdown strangling 'competent' order and carry on normally until MINNIS wakes up !!!
These tests are grossly inaccurate because 98% of all human beings have some of the antibodies in their blood stream and this has been publicised in medical journals.
