Bravo to you for pointing out that the government is NOT responsible for every damn thing that goes wrong in this country. It simply points out that Bahamians always want someone else to be responsible for their own screw ups !!!

This is what it has come down to by their own volition. The innocent officers know who the guilty officers and if they have any integrity and want the searches to stop then all they have to do is identify the perpatrators or the warden should just deduct 2weeks salary from all officers for every illegal item found. I bet the talking and identifying will start and this practise of contraband will stop !!!

The principal reason that the foreign carnival parades are so successful is because that is their respective cultures therefore they put their all into the entire event but our culture is the culture of copying everyone else instead of focusing and developing our unique culture and style to world class levels so that foreigners abroad start planning their Christmas vacations here so that they can attend and enjoy our own Junkanoo festival and not another botched up copy of Trinidads carnival !!!

The Junkanoo parades happen every year on the same schedule and everybody knows that, so if the leaders realize that funds were tight and or insufficient then wouldn't be a wise move to start canvassing sponsors from January and having fund raising events to assist but then again, that would be anti-bahamian the people who leave everything to do until the last possible moment then complain when things don't work out !

This woman already knows that these students are as dumb as stumps but is pushing for a strike to make matters worse. Not everybody can afford a private education like the education she got at St. John's Collage. She is now basking in her glory and self importance, just another loud mouth power hungry clown !!!

More than likely the two masked robbers are from Nassau and they decided to spread their tiefing disease to the family islands. I hope the Abaco residents catch them and use them as bait on their next fishing trip !!!

News Flash #1 Mr. Dames, Toronto is NOT a tourist destination like how Nassau is. News Flash #2 Mr. Dames, Canada will indeed have more crime because their population is X million and our population hasn't hit the half million mark yet, so stop comparing sugar apples with guavas. Something has to be done about that Long Wharf strip and Fish Fry if we intend to continue attracting tourists to that area, plain and simple !!!

What is gonna be laffable is when these self serving union shepherds of the union sheep help facilitate the collapse of the already fragile economy and there is no money left to give anyone anything and the sheep realize that there is no more manna from heaven for them.
