The negative effects of unions and their practise of looking out for lazy, drunk, high, unproductive staff by far outweighs the small if measurable positive effects but then again I don't expect any better, living in "dis turd" world country !!!

You know Sheeprunner you are right , the Government should leave the hotel alone and allow Grand Bahama's economy to completely crash, then let them flock to Nassau looking for non existent jobs to further burden the social services and NIB until our economy crashes and the dollar devalued to 10cents on the dollar so that we all can be in the same big pool of shit, right !!!

Grand Bahamians are leaving their homes to find work/jobs in other islands and the Government shouldn't do something to restart their once booming economy again because of .... ?

John, as ultrustic as your suggestion sounds, that will not work with criminals in training. They need to be sent to do hard labour tasks like cleaning grafitti off of buildings with a tooth brush, sweeping the beaches with a hair brush, emptying swimming pools with a teaspoon, painting schools with a makeup brush, washing ALL government vehicles with a dishwashing sponge, cleaning all garbage off the streets, weeding all public parks with a butter knife, trimming all tree limbs from around power lines, then maybe just maybe they will understand discipline, responsibility and positivity to make them better human beings !

After being caught, these inmates should be slam dunked in jail so they get a taste of what real incarceration is all about !

Giordano, when you say police, are you referring to those folks dressed in black red striped pants or skirts with the white shirts and hats who drive around all day wasting gas with the a/c blowing or walking around in town looking down at their cell phones watsapping or playing games because if that's who you are referring to, then please be advised that they are only wearing those clothes because the government ran out of hangers to put then on in the closet !!!
