I have noticed that Mr. Comrade Russel is always the critique but he never seems to come up with any viable solutions, he just uses any occassion to berate the Imperial Red Shirts. His juvenile approach to anything that is not PLP sanctioned or directed by, is nauseating !
Well Mr. Dames, you can start by reactivating the cell phone jammers on the prison compound then all calls will have to be made from land lines which should be recorded, monitored and checked daily by an unannounced private entity and if the prison guards complain about invasion of privacy then tell that they caused it on themselves. Trust and respect is not just given, it has to be earned and their track records prove that they have abused them !
So what would be the point of this law ? The seatbelt law was passed and even the Police in uniforms driving in Police cars don't wear seat belts or even use indicators for that matter, so please tell us who is gonna enforce this law ???
Yeah, lets blame the government, the car manufacturer even GOD for the driver running into a barrier at high speed. People, she took responsibility for the loss of her life by driving irresponsibly so stop shifting the blame to who or what is convenient !!!
It is the same shit after every election, the appropriated funds are lamented about in the house of assembly but not one word is spoken about how these funds will be recovered. $6,900 is a significant amount and should be retrieved from the receiver through the court systems to set an example then redirect their attentions to the B.O.B. Theives !!!
Our legal system needs to stop pandering to old white gray haired British farts on the other side of the planet and deal with justice here as WE deem fit to bring this situation under control. If criminals have no fear of our laws and punishments then what incentive would they have to stop because they know the most they will suffer is a spank on the hand and told don't do it again !!!
The principle reason the numbers and spinning web shops are so popular is because Bahamians are a lazy nation who feel they deserve the best out of life with little to no effort on their respective parts. This insane, baseless sense of entitlement is what is destroying our economy and is being actively taught to the youth. The mantra nowadays seems to be " Hard work does not pay as much as HARDLY working " !!!
If Haitians want more rights here in The Bahamas, then let them exercise the only rights they have here as foreigners and that is the right to pack up and LEAVE !!!
We all have to forgive Tal for his immature invective and outlook on life due to his lack of accepting that his floundering 'yellow' shirts were displaced thereby causing him to politicise everything regardless of the circumstances. I am sure if he is still here during the Christ's second coming and his party members don't make it into heaven, he will blame "The Imperial Red Shirts" !
