A source close to Sandals also denied yesterday that the government was caught off guard by its intention to make hundreds of people redundant, as Labour Minister Shane Gibson had suggested.

#The source said officials of the resort met with Prime Minister Perry Christie several times recently and informed him of the decision.

Real f..ck..g clowns. Where do they get off at believing that they can just trample over the rights of the citizens of this country. The reason for the seperation of powers is for this very same reasons they are fighting against. Bahamians have no access to the HOA to defend themselves, thus the courts. I blaame the speaker,who has responsibility to protect us from the largesse of parliament. He now feign indignation,when he was the one who allowed the member to infringe on the constitution rights of privacy for STB. Who will protect us from the tyrannical arm of government,if not the courts
