The police can take action . unless the judge stays his decision until an appeal is heard or the court of appeal give an emergency stay. The commish is free to do his job, but I am not sure he has the will.

Iron velvet remember he is a political creature so you can expect that type of statement. While i do support changes in the way BEC is run I think the heavy handed approach by the chairman is not the best way to go. The bad habits have been entrenched for decades and it wont change over night.
So when you cant settle a dispute with the union you make them essential services to silence them. I am sure that is not how it should work in a democracy.
It amazes me that these men were in the HOA when the monies were borrowed and spent but now they claim to be surprise about the debt the previous administration left. They are just as culpable because they approved it. Please take your heads out of your butts and get on with governing this country. No amount of blame is going to help us.
TalRussell you just hit the nail on the head I have been trying to find out what the vote split must be to pass Is it a simple majority or like a real referendum a 2/3 can anyone answer that question
The prime minister said he is the type that listens to the people so he postponed the "referendum " On the flip side it shows how in-competent he is to even bring it up without properly thought out.
Good day Mr Thompson what happens if it turns out the COP is not doing his job effectively but refuses to step down ,are we then stuck with that in-efficiency until he decides to leave.
