Another case of people complaining when the gov tries to right the ship. Bahamians are so use to sponging off the gov that they don't know how to act when it's time to pay the piper. They think they are entitled to everything free.

That's up to the court

Here we go again with the protectionist mumbo jumbo. open up the market please. I am still wandering about you all who say Bahamians will lose jobs. There aint any jobs to lose The bill at least give us an opportunity to create some jobs. If an investor comes in and starts a business and hires 5 Bahamians and 10 of his own what's wrong with that. That's 5 more Bahamians working who would otherwise be unemployed

Who cares what the union thinks or how it feels. We have to right the sinking ship.Hopefully those days of just padding the public payroll is over. I hope they find real jobs

If these are the pictures of the way these ladies wore their hair, then the manager has the problem. This country is so closed minded and focused on the wrong things. We will forever be a third world country. These ladies are so gorgeous with their hair styles. I find it offensive to force a person to wear anything other than their natural hair. Wake up Bahamas,we are being left behind.

I thought the campaign for election 2012 was over,or is this the official campaign for 2022? You really think our problems are as simple as Romauld porfolio being changed. The fight over this shows just how much the government's detractors are afaid of the success the gov has in stabilizing our country. Only weak minds focus on the small stuff

The "Bahamianization" policy and our strict immigration laws has completly destroyed our attractiveness in investments. I hope this bill is the start of giving our country a chance to survive. We ought to be giving out at least five thousand work permits to investors and their families to attract real money to the country.
