the unemployment rate doesn't mean Jacqushite in the Bahamas think about the 1000's of people that are employed by the government as favors? Those aren't positions to fill when the employees are let go and if these employees are so good why does every single government business have to be subsidized?
the cause is easy = years and years of zero enforcement and then there's the 70's & 80's...they got away with it seemingly forever how you gonna change that mentality?

A fire is an act of god - have fun charging someone for neglect when it was the hand of the lord that did it. Also the dump has always caught on fire and always stunk up that part of the island - why do you think the land is / was so cheap... you get what you pay for.
Trust the PLP is never going to do anything that will stop Bahamians from needing to Beg for basic care.... the cronies dem takin care of but the average Bahamian is SOL
"we" is dumarsses who borrowed when they shouldn't have - i was brought up if you don't got it you just don't got it but you go on living. These fools at RBC probably used to let the PLP push them around when the Bank of the Bahamas was failing and they actually complied and loaned money to people who they probably already knew were high risk. I mean they just now saying we should have a credit ratings system? This didn't just happen it's been a long process and because our FNM transparent No teeth but i guess they're not bullies either gubmint can't do crap about it RBC is just as guilty as the people they loaned the money to
