Hundreds of Millions of Dollars from NIB contributions went to pay a few corrupt families' land, house, businesses instead of paying for schools, hospital, roads, whatever or saving for a rainy day for the bahamian public which seems to happen a lot June-November around here. We should stop being idiots and end this BS now.
People who stole from BOB still living like kings while the rest of you are begging for a job, food or school for your families.
Obviously no bahamian government can run crap. it is no good too anyone except money laundering webshops. stop playing banker. cut the loss, bite the bullet and shut down this clown operation now.
feeding your kids wendy's or kfc is not parenting. bahamians see fast food as affordable luxury. take 20-30 mins out of your day and cut up some fruits and vegetables for yourself and your children people...
please don't call him that! we should respect his choice. if he were a selfish man, he would live his life as he liked ( the man is intelligent and very well educated) but he spent the last 40+ years dedicating himself to the political life in the bahamas. not easy.
Mr. Mitchell, instead of suggesting a fist fight or further name calling this guy, just be honest and come out if you like. You might be surprised to learn how many bahamians don't care what your sexual orientation is or how many bahamians would respect your courage and pride if you did so by calling out these homophobes.
what is the government to do if the dude (name and age still TBD) is sitting on his laurels for the last 18+ years instead of getting his status straight while already in the bahamas.
they should have told him to handle his application through the bahamian embassy in haiti.
how ironic the bahamas gets called undereducated by a major player in the economy just a few days after PM gets back from the US promoting Freeport as a tech hub. yeah stop denying it. just have to face it and fix the education problem if you can.

it's so unfair that F Smith is choosing to drag Bahamas' good name through the mud like that. Bahamas is not perfect but doesn't deserve that.
