The Minnis Govt bought the hotel for $65M, 8 years ago.

The Govt kept it open at a cost of $1.5M per month for 8 years. That's 96 months x $1.5M, plus other costs for the management company.

The problem with our country and its political leaders is that we are not practical.

The size & makeup of our country has to taken into consideration when planning these beautiful ideas.

Duplication of services and resources across 30 islands is expensive.

That is why our systems have to change to streamline Govt services, not expand them for sexy optics at election time.

My opinion.
