The government does not really know who has dropped out of school since March 2020 because too many students have gone AWOL on virtual school in addition to actually dropping out (no longer in school). Many who are in formal school have also psychologically "checked out" as well. Truancy is just a part of the issue.
This is a crisis of a great magnitude ............ at least 50% of the students over the age of 11 have probably "checked out" of formal schooling because of Covid & Dorian.
Hubert Ingraham reviewed and reformed the PF in the 1990s. It restricted how many officers could be in khaki at one time and it limited the PF to 11 officer levels .............. Every time the PLP took over the Government, they tinkered with the PF and messed it up ......... That is how we are in this mess today.
Too many lousy khaki officers serving until they are 60 and too many junior officers retiring after 25 years and staying on to "double dip" (salary & pension). More constables will just exacerbate the chaos that the PLP has already created (for votes)
I agree with Munroe ....... Put the police in schools so that that they can run the schools in the place of the principal Then see how that will turn out. More chaos

First thing she needs to do is to get rid of the Credits criteria ...... What purpose does it serve? Why is it using a different standard from GPA? Can a senior transfer those credits to college? ...... Get rid of Credits, please.
The Uncle Toms will put on their song & dance .............. most Bahamians care less about these "royals" .............. The time has come to bid UK Head of State goodbye (ask Fweddy)
Every MP and Senator should be called upon to declare their support/opposition to this issue ...... Bahamians are being ruled by the most cowardly set of politicians in our lifetime.
