What about the umpteen cases that he was involved in???? ……. Police need to answer to his home "robbery" while he was DPM first ……… Bobo and Toogie dem

Meanwhile …………. NO plans to create real hurricane shelters in the 30 inhabited islands …… Wonder what will be on NEMA list come May when they post "hurricane shelters" for the country.

The black political establishment are as entrenched now as the white Bay Street Boys were 60 years ago …….. what's different today????

Only that the black political bosses are heaping on taxes to stay in power

Our sitting politicians & future party leadership need to get rid of every "royal family" who still looking to get fat off the HOG and manipulate the common people…….. no more Pindlings, Hannas, Butlers, Symonettes, Bostwicks, Maynards, Turnquests, Foulkes etc. ………. Too much damage done for the past 50 years.

sheeprunner12 says...

The Pindling name should be scrubbed from modern Bahamian history …….. SMT

Proudloudfnm must be family to Rodney Moncur ……… loves to hate Minnis.

But seriously speaking, the FNM dodged a big bullet here by offloading this colossus of a hotel in a place where most big GB hotels stand abandoned since 2000 ……… No matter what concessions were given, at the end of the day, some jobs will be provided and the spin-offs from having the cruise ship company involved will hopefully pay off for GB.

Back in the day in school, kids had to clean their bodies, clothes, books, desks, classrooms and school yards …….. now, there are "workers" hired to do all of that for them ...……. no life lessons are being taught about personal responsibility OR accountability in the home or school ………. Then, we wonder why this millennial generation has no sense of worth, belonging or patriotism to our country????? ………. No proper home/community grounding.

Here we go again ………… blaming our work ethic on the school system …….. Work ethic is taught from HOME ………. Too many parents spoil and cloak their (under 8) kids and make them entitled (pre-teen) brats with a sense of expecting "something for nothing" when they become teenagers and adults …… How many kids have (unpaid) chores and learn to be responsible and accountable teenagers in the HOME???? ……………. Bodie, don't do it.

We have a parenting problem in this country ………. no home training

It is not a matter of justification ………. it is a matter of efficiency & effectiveness ……… That is what really concerns most Bahamians with our Police & DF ……. We have almost 6,000 total officers now, with 80% of the population on ONE tiny island and we have too much slackness now. Imagine just having more of the same.
