Minimum wage is for entry-level workers ........ if any worker is on a job for FIVE years and still making "minimum wage" he/she must examine him/herself ............. An employer is not obligated to give a wage increase without some "value-added" service being provided by the employee. Too many unskilled employees are either complacent or unmotivated to improve their "value" in order to DEMAND a wage increase from employers. Also, many employees are afraid to move on from a "sure job" and take risks to find a better option due to family or parental commitments that consume their stable (but low) income.

The Minister of National Security was a career policeman ........... Why would he be trampling on other senior officers' honour in this way????? ........ What is the real motive behind this????

Is this truly about PSC retirement, or hidden officers' indiscretions, or is it a Cabinet vendetta that is designed to test the whole civil service abuse of vacation leave????

Can we trust this IDB report??????? ......... If yes, then this is a great achievement.

The so-called "rich, respected, professional, and well-connected" gets the grease in this country from Government and the elite ........... if you are not among that 2% "minority", dog eat your lunch ............. you get "sweet talk" and "idle promises".

To be honest .......... every Government MP sitting in Parliament probably benefits directly or indirectly from a financial contract from the Government or a quasi- Government corporation in some way ........ Most of these MPs are millionaires or businessmen in some form or fashion.

So ALL should be exposed by Brave (who should FIRST declare his past Government contracts as well).

There is a lot not written here that must be taken into account ......... The "old" soldier husband had 6 children with a moody, head-strung, outgoing woman .......... need we say more??????

The family and social context must be taken into account when these unfortunate events happen ........... cannot blame these "murders" on the Government (all the time).

Anyone stopped and wondered how the parent and child arrived at that point? ....... and who had observed the downward spiral and intervened in the matter?

To end generational poverty ......... go to school and learn, finish school, get a trade or a job, stop looking for handouts, stop making unwanted babies, stop looking to own what you didn't earn ........ that is how our grandparents were raised.
