The Government needs to buy back Freeport International Airport, upgrade it and rename it Hubert Ingraham International Airport ...... Then this new 737 can provide needed airlift for the Freeport & GB hotels and other smaller lodges and AirB&B registered locations. That will be far more impactful until waiting for a cruise port to be built.
The country needs its national flag carrier...... not just flying to every little island airport.

On the PR front ......... this Government deserves an "F" grade ......... Minnis is the most press-unfriendly PM that we have had .......... at a time when transparency must be a priority for the FNM to be re-elected ........ Bad PR move on the part of the FNM hierarchy & Minnis

We need an Education Plan that will get the "over 70% of school leavers" out of the functionally-illiterate gutters ........... Just let the MOE publish the BJC and BGCSE results by school and it could be worse.
Talking about investing .................. why does Minnis continue Ingraham's plan to sell off BTC shares to Bahamians???????? ........ The Government allegedly owns 51% of BTC ........ and 40% of Arawak Port .................. Just sell off these shares along with BPL, Bahamasair, WSC etc ............. Just allow ordinary Bahamians to buy shares and become wealthy ............ SMT
Smart suggestion .............. But our people and professionals must still have national pride and integrity - and not take bribes and look the other way when crimes are being committed .......... That is our biggest challenge with customs, traffic, courts, immigration, etc.
Somehow, they want to make the entire leeward shore of Long Island a MPA ........ why don't they do the same with Cat Island, Exuma, Acklins and Eleuthera?????
Why target Long Island ....... where 95% of the population live and subsist off this environment?
This is why Long Islanders believe that this MPA is the work of outside forces.
