Easy to find out which Customs officers are taking bribes ............ we all know their official income ........ just look at their expenditure, assets and spending habits ........ do an audit on them
OK ............ what does it cost to generate BPL electricity on each island .... Andros, Exuma, Eleuthera, Inagua etc ............ Let the people know what is really creating the high cost of BPL across the country ......... The explanation from the BPL bosses is always so vague ........... Who is stealing the most diesel??? ......... Who is making the most "overtime"??? ...........Who is wasting the most transmission power or not maintaining their engines??? ............ Which island customers are not paying their bills????
Yes .............. that is what hurts the regular Joe (and the taxpayer) ......... the PEPs who get all the contracts, consultancies, Board appointments, national honours, and perks.
These 300 workers are probably the most entitled workers in any rural Bahamian community ........ They have benefits and retirement packages that will make 95% of Bahamians simply drool to share.
If the workers there in Inagua continue to cut off the hands that feed them ........ well, send Morton to Long Island
If the People really knew HOW the Minister of Finance does really "bust up" tens of millions of our VAT money on "consultants" ........... when we have many idle salaried senior public officers sitting there doing nothing or on pre-retirement vacation etc ............ Blame General Orders
Always wondered ............ why does BPL not want ALL of our house roofs used to generate solar power ................ or windmills on remote Out Islands to help supply power to NP.
Marvin Dames and Tellis Bethel owe the Bahamian People an explanation of WHY the RBDF could not find this plane ............ did they not search for the one in Andros???????
