Well Muddoes!!!!!!! ................. What are all of the PS of each Ministry doing???????? .......... Is that not their responsibility??????? ............. Do we really expect MOPW to ever finish this report?????
This editorial is so disingenuous ............... How can The Bahamas be moving forward, when most companies (with work permit holders) put a "glass ceiling" on Bahamians so that they can protect these top jobs for the foreigners??????? ............ Succession-planning is a pipe dream for many Bahamians in both the public and private sectors (for different reasons).
This is the Number One problem in our HR departments ......... entitlements, longevity, politics and the "boys' club" syndrome are killing quality assurance in most quarters.
BNT has stretched itself far beyond the Government's mandated funding ....... so it has to take private money to keep its "act" going ...... this is the price.
Fiscal deficit down ....... So what??????? .......... If you cut each Ministry spending and collect more VAT, thats expected .......... But the PPL still hurting and wages still not keeping pace with Cost of Living ........... So, that is a hollow victory for Cabinet and not the people.
Just more ppl getting desperate to make end$$$$$$ meet ............ more smuggling and fraud and selling front.
Can the Government compel Bahamians to pay the 2%??????? ......... via NIB amended Bill? Like Hubiggitty Bill to make NIB rollover every 2 years?????? .......... Hmmmmmmmmm
