Ridiculous idea! Even if you open up, how many people will be able to attend!!! if normally in 6 benches you can seat 20 people you can now only seat 5 or 6. Who will decide who can come to church? Where will the ones not allowed in be crowding together? Better to just open up the bank account or have the congregation save it at home in a jar.
Why don't these people get tested? Once a week or so, or are we still being lied to about the number of test kits? Hearing that you have to isolate yourself for an unspecified time is hard on someone. Give these people something to hold on to.
Backyard farming should be a good option for most, we have a year-round growing season. Would also be great to see some Abaco chicken in the foodstores again. A lot of people are sitting at home doing nothing else than watch Netflix, should not be too hard to stream some basic vegetable gardening instructional videos instead of all the garbage we get too look at now.
Just read there is a huge Dutch navy support/supply/hosptal vessel coming to the Caribbean to assist their islands (and others, eg Martinique) with healthcare needs. Zr Ms Karel Doorman, out of Den Helder, sailing Monday 10 AM. Maybe we can still get some space on that.
If someone is to be quarantined, then test them at least three times in the two-weeks period. Open up a hotel to REALLY quarantine them. Self quarantine leads to family members running a high risk of getting infected, and they are allowed out.
Companies that have been raking in the exorbitant profits for years now all of a sudden, after 3 weeks of (partial) shutdown can no longer keep their employees on the payroll. This is a sad country. Praise to the companies that keep their staff on, despite being closed. By the way, doesn't the closure of that monstrosity called Fusion have anything to do with this?
Are we still allowed to take paracetamol, use soap, wear gloves, use thermometers? The CDC is in the USA, not in the Bahamas. Are these are just Trumpian measures to try and make up for reacting too late? Let the government ensure they get enough masks that actually do stop you from getting the virus and not just stop you from spreading it.

Time to rethink all those new cruise port projects. Try to get some more sustainable tourism and tourists. Or surrender to the oil companies.
