If you are of a white origin, how do you know what kind of attitude the white kids had towards others? That is the same reason why racism is prevalent in the United States; whites think that black Americans are just making it up. When in fact I came from the Bahamas and other blacks came from all over the world and witnessed the same thing. Are you guys saying that blacks are not smart enough to notice injustice? Or you're saying that because it is better than it was, we should be happy?
The old saying said when you dumb you're dangerous. That goes without saying in the Bahamas; I had my own incident with the cops while visiting a couple of years ago. I was pulled over in a rental car by 3 cops, there weren't rude even though one had her gun in hand, I ask them what was wrong and they said that the vehicle is a suspected vehicle, I said I just rented it and I don't even live in the Bahamas anymore, they let me go only to turn back around and pulled me over again, so I gave them my driver’s license this time and ask what is so suspect about the vehicle, they didn't gave me an answer. After returning back home, I learned that three years prior that rental vehicle was in a drug bust. Now, if I was a drug dealer why would I go and get the same vehicle that was in a drug bust to transport drugs? They seems to don't use reasonable judgment to suspect a crime in action and I would go out on a limb to say because they don't get held accountable for things like this is the major reason that they don't use reasonable judgment.
Sad to say it but Democracy encourage party first and to hell with what is good for the country, look around in any democratic country and you will see the same thing going on. It may be the best form of government but that is one of the major flaws with it.
If the story isn't true, that could not be the most outrageous lie that can be told about Shane Gibson. He could have call him an honest man, a person that does things by the book or a person that didn't pad his pocket book while in office the first time.
In the Bahamas in a Government ran bank or any entity, anything is possible, look how the NIB was ran. Besides she could have people in different department that has those access.
How is voting the PLP out will bring back the good name of the Bahamas? The FNM suck just as much, so unless someone else comes in with a different plan I don't see any good name for a long time.
In the minds of criminals everywhere, they think that day won't come for them. It is an invincible mentality, so being killed on the streets isn't as scary and being killed by the electric chair or hanging.
