The Bahamas might not have the biggest economy or much capital, but since our government believe in nationalization of company, then this is the thing to nationalize and this is coming from someone who already buy stocks in BPC. Having 12.5-25% of profits, isn't really much because the going rate for doing business like this is somewhere around 30%, I just hope they didn't give up the rights to all areas in the country because after building capital from this, they could explore/drill on their own.

I hope they are not using the money they stole to pay for the lawyer, now that should be illegal! This Lawyer have a job to do but he shouldn't be able to get pay with what could be other people money, if anything those people get there property back first and then he can get pay.

Very well spoken about the Bahamas, and her other team mates. Inspiring other Bahamians to dream big and try other sports as well, now can someone tell me why she wasn't invited to the opening or the new stadium?

If you are going to use right thinking Bahamians to begin your sentence then you need to be right thinking and be fair, the victimization that started in the 1970's and 80's never stop happening it is alive now and it was alive under the last government. So your post is mostly true but kind of bias because it is trying to lead people to believe that only one party is doing it.

So what are you implying to be done with these so call criminals, leave them to ruin the rest of the public or just killed them lawlessly?

spoitier says...

I didn't say anything about the police, I was speaking of the strategy. I said the murder rate has gone down a lot in the pass few months, so if it isn't the strategy then what is it. You could have the best in the business in any fielde but if you don't have an effective strategy failure is lurking around the corner.

spoitier says...

You are right; it seems like Bahamians complain about anything. Talking about insects! that could be control and besidess I would perfer the insects anyday before criminals. I'm not advocating for the PLP because I hate both parties, However, murder have decrease a lot in the past month and a half, if this isn't the results of urban renewel then tell me what it is?

spoitier says...

Actually the government is not the parent of the country, your may be a parent in your home because your kids abide by your laws. In a democratic nation the citizens run things, just that most of them don't realize it and let the politicians fool them. If you don't beleive me tell me when the next election is going on in your house.

Anyone who beleive Mr Ingraham wasn't trying to stir up political trouble by leaving because he didn't speak first is naive, and by the way like he said it was expected because he would've done the same thing. Mr Ingraham would have stand up and campaign for Greg Gomez and criticize most of the things that the PLP are doing during his speech. Mr. Christie and Mr. Ingraham are good freinds so don't think that they don't know one another tactics.
