You're right on this one, some Bahamians especially men think if she came in his room she was looking for it, so that mentality have to be change to get a decent verdict on a case like this.
Concernedcitizen the record looks identical now but I don't hear about murders every other day now, God forbid I jinx it by saying that. Most of the murders happened right after election so that could be because the new policies probably wasn't in full effects as yet, so let the next couple of months be a measuring stick to see if this is working out. The well being of the Bahamas will benefit all Bahamians so some of the politicians need to get a grip and pull for the crime rate to go down even if it will be benefical to the PLP.
Haiti is not interested in curbing the migrant problem because both help their economy, if they could sell goods to us that will help them and if they could bring down their population by getting rid of more their countryman that will help them also, so you'e right in the fact that Mr. Mitchell might not be the brightess.
Despite Hubert Ingraham being arrogant and to stubborn, the Bahamas will miss a politician like him and I will tell you why. Looking at his record it shows that he is a man who cares about his own country and not the money that he can get from it, him and Christie, if you look at both of their financial statements it shows both of them around 2 million dollars, so I don't think money is their motivation. The times has change and I don't think both of them change with it, but if you look at what the Bahamas has for the next generation of politicians, please fast and pray because those guys look like their motivation is to line their pockets. You might have said some and done some sensitive things to politicians on both parties but you was still a great PM who care about your people.
I still don't get it why people will risk their freedom for the small cut that they would get from the drug dealers to smuggle drugs, it is senseless to do it if you're going to get the purse muchless some $2000-$3000. I know of people who did it, I never had any respect for them because they are gambling with their lives
I think Charles Maynard needs to keep quite, because everytime he talks he sounds more foolish. Do you think that the average Bahamian people are foolish to believe anything that a politician says, HAI set the bar by not allowing Mother Pratt and others to officially resigned, granted he is the former PM of the country that still doesn't means much because his statement to them was their not entitle to that, so the same thing to him. Another point is he can just wait until the house open up on the 25th to officially resign. Keep quite Maynard and let others speak because every subject you hit, the FNM recently did sometime similar.
I think the FNM would do it to a PLP and I also think the PLP would do it to a FNM, that is the point i'm trying to make that each party would only take care of his own. If the PLP had a person who voted FNM do this interview, then that would've made me change my stance a little, not a lot because you said that you live on a outer island and i'm not saying that you don't know what is really going on in Nassau in Freeport because I believe you traveled to those city, but the outer island people have better hospitality than the bigger cities, I'm from one of the bigger cities and have been to other islands and the people genarally are nicer and probably wouldn't leave this woman house just because of party affiliation.
This is one of the most bias piece i've ever saw and both parties need to change that foolishness and take care of all the elderly and not just their own. It is one thing when you are hiring people only that vote for you, but it is another when you a discriminating against the elderly base on affiliation.
