He might have done it, but that confession sound so unbelievable that it is sickening. Who would just go ahead and admit to guilt that freely? Let the tape showed from he walk in the building and everything in between, I know we have to do something with criminals in the Bahamas but cohersing statements can't be the answer.

Whether it is a bad deal or not, a new government shouldn't be in the business of trying to void a previous deal, it is not good for business unless it is extreme. No investors would want to invest in the Bahamas knowing that when a new government come in they would void an old deal, especially in these times when it is unlikely that a party will have two terms.

You could make the case that leaders of South Africa isn't the best, but don't fool yourself to think that this is a poor country, Nellie Day and you must have went to the same school. There is a huge difference between the rich and poor but is so in the Bahamas also, so don't be big headed and think that Bahamas is so much better than them. A country like South Africa can be a great benefit to the Bahamas.

Jim I'm not trying to call you out and I do agree that Bahamians should have some benefits from this deal if it is going to go, but reading some of your facts in terms of population of Kuwait make me wonder what research you did because Kuwait has a population of 2,646,314 according to the CIA world fact book which is a credible site at least to the extent of reporting an accurate population. Maybe you may be talking about another smaller Arab country because most of them are kingdoms which runs different from a democracy, in a kingdom the citizens are paid for being a citizen.

That is the reason why Bahamians should go ahead and buy stocks in BPC, it doesn't matter if you agree or not it is going to happen, so profit from it. Word to the wise.

Jim that sound good in theory but that will never happen. I think Bahamians may need a fair shake but that is to much giving and not working to earn it, I would say the company that is going to drill could always give a stock option to the citizens and jobs in the field that way Bahamians will work harder because they know increase is base upon how hard they work.
