It seems to me that after Dorian, all we are doing is catering to Haitians. When are we going to focus on our own citizens?????

Our government? Any word yet from the Haitian government about how they will deal with their people???????

Suck teet........just when people are focusing on real problems, these two come riding in looking for frickin attention.......just go help......you don't need the newspaper reporters for that.

Many, many Bahamians have been donating and donating to these established shelters. We cannot, however, help make any illegal migrant magically legal. They have reason to fear the future and they know exactly why.

Then we fend for ourselves. We cannot expect other nations to prop us up indefinitely.

Calm down. They just want to go on the record as helping.......they are offering.....counselling.....yes......that seems to be it.......counselling.

I am glad they got turned back. There is no reason for displaced Bahamians or Haitians to go making themselves a burden on the Americans. Stay your hip home and help us fix this mess.

Everybody wants this government to have things just as they used to be and they want it done yesterday. This crises will take quite awhile......years.....to even be half way fixed. Last time I looked, every classroom in Nassau was filled over capacity, and this was before the hurricane. Schools have to get more desks, chairs, teachers to accommodate 10, 000 extra students, so please try to be patient.....there's no quick fix folks.
