People should get arrested and charged for bringing children into this kind of abject poverty. Four children, six children, and more.....when they already struggle to survive. If she has a 22 year old, why still be having more? This is exactly how they overpopulated their own country.

i am thinking that this is how it started in Haiti....nobody knew what to do when the gangs started becoming more powerful and more deadly than the police force.

There needs to be a task force that moves around this island daily, stopping the building of these houses at the foundation level. All this effort to tear down houses when they should have been stopped the minute they tried to put down a foundation. And how in the world is nobody ever arrested for supplying them with illegally connected electricity?

These diving and snorkelling companies may need to check the medical history of these tourists before these fatal adventures. Far too many tourists are dying here in the waters lately. Especially these elderly people.
