Any government of this country, the present and future.....will need that VAT money in order to operate. This government will at least enjoy their last few weeks of the current VAT rate. Don't know if they will rush to decrease that.

The people didn't show up to vote because most were following the only reliable science involved in this covid pandemic......they were doing their utmost to keep this virus out of their bodies, regardless of the fact that both leaders were trying to lead a whole lot of people into harm's way. Some people practiced self preservation......the other political enthusiasts.....we will certainly find very soon.
Both party leaders promised to make changes to the hospital......hopefully, whichever wins, will remember that promise as early as Friday, 17th.....this year
Bahamians will choose the government they want today......and then we all need to rally around that government to pull ourselves out of this economic hole......whether the party of your choice wins or not. We cannot just plan to be stumbling blocks for the next five years. Th e incoming government will have some heavy lifting to do and some tough decisions to make, so don't start sharpening your knives......yet.

I missed that too.......went back to look at the PLP economic plan, but all is says is ......cut VAT to 10% across the board.
