Hey Oracle, it’s designed to be figured that way. It’s called the Swedish rounding system, and it’s designed to prevent stores from setting prices strictly in their advantage. But your suggestion would be easier.
Greetings from the U.S. It will NOT effect the poor or (underbanked). The rounding should only take place for any total cash price, not individual pricing. So whether the cost of goods is $5 or $500, the difference will only be a cent or two in one direction or the other. It works great in other Countries. I’m waiting for my Country to jump in the band wagon as well, but we seem to be supplementing the cooper and zinc mining industry here. You will be fine bird!
