If clergy want to help the **workers with work permits**, then you and your members **put them up in your own homes** until they find other dwellings. Or as mentioned by others, the work permit approval process should include proof of residence secured for arrival (or an agreement **in writing** to provide the same). It's clear that any who are here illegally should **return to their country**!

I always find it humorous that clergy will make all of these suggestions of what should be done. What are **YOU doing personally** to help? Or do you just stand on principle to get your name in the papers?
A different version of this story was mentioned in the Guardian. When you are dealing with **other people's lives**, safety is paramount. It pays to be overly cautious.
What you do on your own time is your business. Geez, be a professional at work. SMH
There will always be mud slinging in politics. But that doesn't mean disrespect has anything to do with "wokeness". Should we call the former Prime Minister a little boy? Both are grown adults. SMH
Yes, and **Puerto Rico** is right next to them and is **actually a part of the US**.
Or is the **US Government** like other Americans I met while studying abroad who thinks The Bahamas is a part of the US for real? SMH 🙄
Agreed, the Bus System in Nassau is definitely a failure. At least half the drivers, **drive like** they are **fleeing the gates of hell** (pedestrians have already been killed in the past as a result). There's no type of spacing between drivers, during peak hours most of the buses are full. The issues go on an on, but they want even more money?
I agree that **official** bus stops with benches and a **small** enclosure should be established. But Bahamians must also realize that buses should **only** stop at **official** designations. People are too lazy to walk a few feet or yards to where they are going. This thing about the bus stopping *every 2 seconds*, must also cease!
Puerto Rico is right on the side of the Dominican Republic. It's part of the US. Do it there!!
Where do they get off saying it will be in The Bahamas? That's ludicrous.
Agreed Fitmiss. It would be silly to suggest salaries should be cut if they don't sign up for a system. Salary is based on performance of job duties. What does the Oracle system have to do with that? You can't change the rules in the middle of the game!

To be honest, I don't believe anything the PLP, FNM or COI says. Politicians are usually out for themselves or hungry for power.
