Yep and definitely better that what I saw on CNN 2 weeks ago. A doctor was told to clip a sheet protector onto his eye wear, to protect himself when putting a covid patient on a ventilator -due to lack of PPE. Maybe they should send some to that hospital too.

The international bank - **First Atlantic**, based in the Caribbean I think, has a very reliable payment gateway for online payments. (PS- *I have no affiliation with the company*, I just noticed that their service is secure.)
If you pay Cable Bahamas online, Colina, etc. you will notice when the payment is going through, at the top of the screen it mentions... contacting bank... First Atlantic... or something like that.

I think this novel delivery company needs to ensure that they are using a reliable payment gateway. Some online gateways that use Bahamian banks have a colorful history. Just a thought! A word to the wise... and all that good stuff!!!

Brave, your head ain't good. Minnis needs to allow more businesses to open and just enforce social distancing. If he wants to limit the days then ok, but give each business at least 2 or 3 days.

If the grocery stores can do it, I'm sure other businesses can do it (probably better). Masks are now mandatory. Give people fines for not wearing masks and I think that the numbers won't be much different if we do this for now.
I know the FNM is doing a horrible job at dealing with Covid, but I'm not convinced the PLP would be much different. SMH

Moncurcool I figured that a major landscaping company has contributed to the FNM campaign or someone in government or their family owns major landscaping companies... (rolling eyes). Cause there's no logic to the lunacy that's happening around here!!

Good points. I thought the "humane" part was not logical either.
If your expenses are greater than your income, it doesn't matter how much inventory you have, you're really not rich at all.

Some of of these businesses are literally making zero dollars right now.

Another interesting question I have is about Caribbean countries in general. Most countries in the Caribbean are considered "developing" nations. We don't have the resources that the "developed" countries such USA and UK have.

But the mortality rate in the Caribbean is much lower than I expected for sure. (The reported cases I understand, because testing is lousy) but I find it interesting that mortality all over the Caribbean is very low. When it is the developed nations that have the best hospitals, health care, etc. Yet, the **developed world** won't study this, I guess for the mere fact that we are "developing nations"??? But I find that it's worth a closer look.

(The worldometers website sheds light on this with the numbers.) https://www.worldometers.info/coronavir…

**As of Apr/19**
Jamaica 173 cases, 5 deaths
Trinidad 114 cases, 8 deaths
Bermuda 86 cases, 5 deaths
Barbados 75 cases, 5 deaths
Cayman Is. 61 cases, 1 death
Antigua 23 cases, 3 deaths... and so on.

Thisisours... of course their analysis is off!! They are just copying what they see other countries doing.
Notice America is saying to use cloth masks, all of a sudden cloth masks are better than slice bread. America says it will gradually open, now our government is saying the same.

The problem with this copy-cat mentality is that the resources, finances, economic stimulus that other countries have, we don't!!!
So we can follow them and back ourselves right into a corner. Then when those countries recover, we will be 10 years behind the 8-ball as usual. SMH

Lol. Couldn't have said it better myself ohdrap. I wonder who in government owns a plant nursery? ROFL

This is very sad. I only pray this will not become a trend.

I'm glad **auto parts stores** are allowed to open with social distancing (even essential workers can have car problems). But I think there should be more than 1 day allowed. (2 at a minimum - eg. Tues & Thurs.)

If there's only 1 day... **Tuesday will be crazy**!!!!! There have been many people waiting to get vehicles fixed (especially with no public transportation). Why can't government see, when they put too many limitations, it makes matters worse??? (I guess at least the mandatory masks will help...less cloth, more real ones).

Give these businesses a bit more time for customers to shop, then everyone won't crowd them all at once! **It's not rocket science**!! SMH
Plant nurseries get 2 days, but auto parts get 1?? ROFL
