Yeah but mudda, didn't they say they have at least 10,000 kits available? But yet they haven't tested even half that. Why?

This is really stupid! What's the point of reviewing for a downgrade now? At least wait until the world is back up on it's feet first, then examine how we are doing in comparison.

So in reality they need to downgrade the whole world! What a time for Moody's to show their bias! It's not like it's only The Bahamas' economy being affected. Experts everywhere say the **whole world is in a temporary recession**. smh

It's so ridiculous. Someone told me that they even refuse to test persons who have lived with Covid19 patients unless they have difficulty breathing (according to the silly hotline).

The government has truly dropped the ball on this. To me, it also elucidates the higher death rate. It is not only because we don't know the true status of cases. It's also because they test and/or treat people only when they have gotten to the point of respiratory distress/hypoxia. So these people are so bad off before they are accepted, they die soon after.

Around here, it seems to be... you're own your own! If you are able to afford the purchase of a **pulse oximeter** tool to put on your finger to track your **oxygen saturation**, God forbid you have difficulty breathing - get one!!

This government playing games with people's lives.
Ya better look out fur ya sef!!! A word to the wise...

I'm sorry to say this was predictable. I said this would happen.
Anyone with a brain could see this would happen. Anyone besides our precious government officials I guess!!! SMH

You're so right. It truly seems they are reading the book "**How to Infect an Entire Island at Once, for Dummies!!!**"

Proudloud... You are entitled to your opinion!
I just hope you aren't one of those who end up with Covid because of having to stand in a long line with people coughing around you less than 3 feet away!!!

So now, grocery stores will be crazy again! Minnis, you have no clue!!!! SMH
His orders are causing more panic and causing more crowds to gather!!!!!

Shoppers are not adhering to social distancing at all. I'm sorry to say but Minnis is helping to spread this virus. Tribune/ZNS/EW news **please video tape** (and send to Minnis) the chaos that will be caused Mon-Wed of this week, cause Minnis really doesn't get it.

tell_it_like_it_is says...

Agreed. These short notice warnings do add to the problem and do not help. I passed several food stores on Friday evening and the lines were crazy. Plus, social distancing was not being practiced.

This ad hoc style of delivering emergency orders (EO) is not wise. Why couldn't the order be given on Friday morning or Thursday evening? Don't let your EOs cause more issues than they are solving!! SMH

Well, Roberts has a point. When I saw the lines at Super Value... I said "Heck No!!" Even though I wanted to shop there, I changed my mind and decided to wait. lol

tell_it_like_it_is says...

Of course there is over 100 cases.
Remember, this death (if it is Covid) came from a place with **zero** cases. So we can say the **testing** is increasing, more than the cases are increasing. 14 is a joke and not realistic. It is much more than that. The cases have been here a long time ago and probably spreading among the asymptomatic much more than was realized. However, we will never know the true state due to lack of testing.

tell_it_like_it_is says...

I'm sorry joe, but that could only happen in a perfect scenario.
Even the essential workers are moving around constantly. Then, because our testing is minimal we will never know which of them is also infected and passing it around, if they are asymptomatic.

Thinking that if we stay home, this will all go away is unrealistic. It can reduce the spread, **but definitely not eliminate it**.
