Yeah, I think this is a good thing. The recent study that showed just how much microscopic plastic materials are now within Bahamian waters... which now adds to the illegal dumping of waste materials, along with the uptick in cancers and other illness - we have to take a more serious look at environmental impact studies.

Every other day it seems like they are opening a beached marine animal to find it died from consuming 40 lbs of plastic, or 20lbs, etc. When the sea creatures are consuming these dangerous materials and then we consume the sea creatures, this is a recipe for disaster.
I hope this truly comes to fruition, even though it may seem inconvenient initially.

What was the mental state of the perpetrator committing such a brazen act? So many questions...

Obviously they need to take security more seriously in this country.
This is sad.

Sadly it's up to 320 now and will probably rise higher. Apparently they claim it's an extremist group who sought revenge for the New Zealand attacks according to CNN.

Don't know if that's true or not, but the sad fact is... violence begets violence.
I don't think the world will be satisfied until we blow each other up to smithereens! smh

" we believe that our traffic response times are consistent with times across the Caribbean and **indeed the world**."

I thought April fools jokes were finished with, but that's a good one. If the rest of the world was as slow as us in responding to traffic accidents most of those people would have already died. SMH

This is certainly a complicated and interesting case.
I hope something goes in this man's favor if he is indeed innocent.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about these **beatings** by law enforcement officers!
It's time for that nonsense to end... and sometimes only money makes an impact on getting government to follow its own laws.

No, but the Minister needs to be more supportive. If after all these years teachers haven't walked out of classes at S.C. why would they **suddenly** have ulterior motives? Especially these days when students are killing each other with knives.

Be fair and investigate this properly. The student population outnumbers the teachers and if they were being threatened, I wouldn't blame them for walking out.

tell_it_like_it_is says...

Are they finally going to take **enforcing** road traffic laws more seriously now? One can only hope. I've been talking about this for a while now.
The reality is unless laws are *enforced*, nothing will change... (fingers crossed!)

Dames knows he could care less.
He'll investigate the killings just as much as they investigate the beatings I guess! smh

Yeah the part about **throwing the pigs into the waves** was just despicable.
It's hard to stop people who worship at the alter of the almighty Dollar!! smh
