Funny you are beating this drum now, because when this story appeared under another headline, you were castigating Brave for 'putting on a show'. Flip flopper...

Yeah, but Dion was the deputy, not the substantive speaker - so totally different.

And still, Halson is absolutely dreadful...never recall Dion talking about the (alleged) sexual persuasion of politicians, or verbally berate members in the House. So, no - don't bring Dion into this.

Porcupine, we the people (generally, using this term, of course) put him in, no? After all, he was elected an MP - by an overwhelming margin, I might add. So, we should be quite ashamed for electing such a scoundrel.

Moreover, it appears that electing this administration (again, generally speaking) to office was one of the more boneheaded, idiotic and incorrect decisions we have made as a people, and that is really saying something considering our horrendous electoral decisions of the past.

Care to provide your source that the PLP campaigned against it? Not calling you a liar, bit if we are going to say seemingly specious statements, perhaps we should have the temerity to nack them up no? Or, will you, like the silly Mudda, resort to "cussing me out" and not answering my question?

tetelestai says...

I noticed you, as usual, like a petulant, little ingrate, attacked me, but as most common with small minded Bahamians, didnt answer my question. To you then, ignoramous, I ask the question again: recommend some names? Or is your so called intellect only useful for 5th grade insults?

He was debating, not arguing, a salient point with respect to Hiuse rules. The Speaker of the House, as is usual for him, was not addressing the question, but rather was trying to assert his dominance in the House. It was a fair question by Brave.

How is what was written a 'disgraceful' and 'vicious' attack? Seems pretty innocuous to me.

tetelestai says...

But who do we vote in? Not trying to be snarky...seriously asking.

Yes the "nimble" private sector lays everyone off...guess where those employees turn to for help? The government! So, really, you are giving credit to the private sector for releasing people and letting the government deal with them. I give up...again.
