Actually, mudda, I think the Chinese look at some of the comments espoused on this message board and say to themselves, we really don't need these Bahamians at all. In truth, can't say that I blame them.
Sheeprunner12, with respect, you do realize that you can communicate with other people on this message board like an adult, right? There is no need for the multiple "question marks" and insisting that people "STFU", simply because they do not share your view. This type of petulant behavior is not helpful or, frankly, not needed on this board. And, for the love of all things good and right, please cease with the "all caps". i assure you that most of us on this thread read just fine.
I thought Miller-Uibo received a gold in the women's 200m, not the 400m. Seriously, Brent, you really need to improve. And, who will be running for the Bahamas in the 4X100m? Can we get someone to report who actually, you know, conducts some type of reporting?
My question remains. If there is no one else to elect but the same "lame brain imbeciles and their cronies", what are the people supposed to do? Are you suggesting, that which was foolishly suggested by Nicholette Bethel, et. al, that we should just file absent ballots?
Could not agree more, DonAnthony. He talks about the record but does not say what it is! GEEZ! You would think he would improve after covering sports for so long yet he continuously makes the same first year journalist student mistakes. Thank you for saying what the time was.
Stillwaters, exactly. And this is why politicians should not listen to Bahamians at all. All we do is complain and then complain, oh, and then jump on message boards to complain. The Director was absolutely right in this situation. Any objective, right thinking Bahamian should understand that.
Economist, so he is ignorant for denying a foreigner's application when there is a qualified Bahamian (he claims) that can perform the job? You must have sat next to the Director in the "D-" group in school. Such a silly statement.
Porcupine, you do realize we can only elect who is presented to us, right? It's not as though we can "write in" votes for a leader. So, if we are choosing the worse of two evils, how is this situation the people's fault?

Islandgal1, that is the single most vacuous statement ever asserted on this comment board, and that is really saying something.
