@birdiestrachan if Braves government is so concerned with the welfare of the poor why haven’t they repealed the VAT increase and made breadbasket items exempt? Because they need the income to continue to finance their high flying traveling, like traveling first class through Europe to get to Canada. In Davis and Mitchell’s scheme of things so far as the poor and ignorant Bahamians like Birdie are concerned let them eat cake!
Shane Gibson has a lot of gall to offer himself for public office again with all of the baggage he's carrying.
Just goes to show the level of contempt these people have for the Bahamian electorate and how short they think our memories are.
The residents of the constituency should have every right to have a large say in who their candidates should be and it's obvious that they don't want Gibson.
“The results of my ministry is clear. I built 1,500 houses in my first term in office." Reputedly for a consultants fee of $5K per house. Yes Mr. Gibson, your declared worth at the beginning of your first term in office was around $35K, when you demitted office, it was reputed to be around $6 million, the housing construction and consulting business must be extremely lucrative, either that or a lot of shingles were supplied.
@ hrysippus, everywhere there’s lots of piggies living piggy lives, you can see them out for dinner with their piggy wives, clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon!
Meanwhile, Brave flies first class to Canada via Rome so he can kiss the Popes ass and ring and enjoy some pasta enroute while the folks in North Andros can't even get a cold glass of water. But then some people are more equal than others.
