According to Birdie, only FNM’s and white people rich, all black people and PLP’s poor, disenfranchised and exploited.

Birdie, Keith Bell is a talking suit not an economist, he couldn't count to twenty counting all ten fingers and all ten toes.
The reason most of these people are in politics is because they can't make a living doing anything else.

If poachers or smugglers can overwhelm a large Defense force vessel, a heavily armed war ship equipped with an automatic quick firing cannon & machine guns, crewed by trained and armed marines then the Defense Force should truly be disbanded.

The poor man probably couldn't take the Black crab syndrome and obstructionism any longer, its hard to do your job when you're constantly being undermined.

Mrs Aranha, I applaud your appreciation of the government’s $75K grant, however, the question begs what could your organization do with the millions of dollars that will be squandered by the government on expensive and mismanaged animal shelters, one has only to look at the government Animal Control Units record to see an opportunity squandered.

hmbs a d Hanna, P421, was commissioned into service in June of 2014 as the first delivery of Operation Sandy Bottom refurbishment of the defense force fleet and at considerable expense to the country.
At only nine years old these vessels can hardly be described as obsolete so is the government proposing to write off the A D Hanna and her sister ships which cost the taxpayers hundreds of millions just ten years ago in favor of the new flavored eco friendly vessels on offer, and at what cost?
The manner in which our law enforcement agencies in this country look after their assets is nothing less than deplorable, the RBPF patrol cars a typical case in point, and wasn’t the former Prime Minister known to have instructed the Commodore of the Defense Force to instruct his officers to “stop mashing up our boats!”
The amount of waste in the public sector could never stand the light of day in private industry,SMT!

Birdie you ignorant crab, the discussion and disagreement is over the duty on washing machine parts, domestic vs commercial but then you wouldn’t know the difference, you probably spell detergent OMO!

How about putting those projected pie in the sky funds into supporting and expanding the Bahamas Humane Society who have given so much to animal welfare in this country with so few resources or into Baark Bahamas who also already have a spay and neuter program established.
Given the money required to fund what the Honorable Minister has in mind these two already established animal care organizations could make serious inroads into our stray and abused animal population instead of it ending up in some government “consultants pockets.
The Bahamas government’s Animal Control Department is a joke.
The police method is to shoot the animals instead of the owners, which actually happens when their bullets ricochet off of pit bulls, Tribune article June12th.
Minister Sweeting, you need to ease up on that kool aid you’re drinking!

Another one of the Prime Minister’s highly trained, colorfully painted parrots.
What does her current record reflect?
