Even the village idiot knows that the reason the PLP won the last election is because only 37% of the electorate voted and 30% of those were PLP. Just for the record, Brave dem ain’t looking too good at the moment either, yinna who is live in glass houses should be the last to throw rocks.
Would Mr. Laroda and the Minister of Finance please answer two simple questions?
How much money is owed to NIB by the Bahamas Government and or its agents and when will payment of the same be forthcoming?
They seem to have unlimited funds for travel and junkets and the hosting of Caricom etc. but because of their lack of stewardship and vision vis a vis NIB the working populace will now be burdened with a contribution increase, this added to increased VAT on medical insurance and BPL debt relief and fuel hedging debacles foisted on us.
How about some relief for us regular Bahamians, remember, it a new day! More like death by a thousand cuts.

The fact that you obviously have no problem with thugs in the uniforms of a branch of the government invading someone’s place of work and beating them up speaks volumes about what and who you truly are. The fact that they happen to Haitians is irrelevant, this is exactly the sort of condoned behavior which cumulated in the Holocaust, but I suppose you think that’s a conspiracy theory too.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, the hatred and smear campaign against the local Haitian community being promoted by the lunatic Lincoln Bain, his fringe lunatic followers and other xenophobic minded individuals. These people aren't illegal immigrants, they are legal permit holders and the have the legal right to be here. And when these people rise up in retaliation, which at some point they will, who will take responsibility for the carnage that could ensue as a result? Even the most peaceful and placid of creatures will bite you if you kick and beat them enough.
@sheeprunner12, so you're suggesting that all fast-food restaurants should be done away with because some of our people can't control their eating habits? One particular company that I'm thinking about employs upwards of 1,500 people, I wonder if these employees and their dependents also consider their employers useless and dangerous to the Bahamian population?
