Minnis was dumb, arrogant and incompetent to the extreme. Davis on the other hand is just plain outright corrupt and downright cruel to his very core. But we all know that you, like @birdie, have Davis's back no matter what. LOL
Don't worry.....the Courts are going to give him a huge financial reward at the end of the day whether or not he's guilty. It's the new get rich quick scheme for politicians. LOL
Parents should have been up in arms and marching in the streets when cruel Davis announced Hanna-Martin would be minister of education.
And the current leadership of the BUT all need to go, from Belinda Wilson right on down. For years now we have seen story after story in The Tribune about all of the same 'ole problems with our grossly under-resourced and terribly dysfunctional public education system.
Most of us know the system is no longer even capable of providing our country's children with at least a D - level of education. And let's face it, a single good teacher with only basic classroom essentials like chalk board, eraser and chalk, adequate supply of pencils, rulers and papers, together with access to a personal laptop computer and WIFI connected photocopier, can teach a class of 30 children basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills with little difficulty. So the question is begged over and over again, why is our public education system producing year after year so called 'graduates' that most Bahamian employers consider illiterate?
Frankly, none of this is news anymore for most parents, teachers or 'administration' officials. And nothing will ever change until those who are incompetent in the ministry of education and BUT and doing the most harm to the system are all gone.
And the average Bahamian you're unhappy with today is very much the product of decades of corrupt and grossly incompetent elected officials who have failed our society in so many ways while proving themselves completely incapable of governing anything because they only ever care about their own political well-being and could not care less about the people. And Hanna-Martin is very much a case in point.
What does cruel Davis care? He and the other members of the elitist political ruling class jump on a plane to a U.S. hospital at the Bahamian taxpayers' expense whenever they become seriously ill.
We are about to soon find out whether the Biden administration in the U.S. and the Davis administration in The Bahamas are now fully under the control of the very evil and sinister leadership of the Chinese Communist Party led by Xi Jinping.
