Many of these killings are so called 'gang initiation killings' where killing a member of another gang is required to gain membership in a rival gang. The gangs are dominated by extremely violent illegal nationals who adhere to gang rules that have existed for decades in countries like Haiti and Jamaica.

The 'brown suits' at the top of our police department and our senior defense force officers have gathered over the years a lot of intelligence about the illegal actvities supported by the more well organised gangs, e.g., firearms smuggling, human trafficking, drug trafficking, etc. They even know who the gang leaders are and their whereabouts.

But our senior law enforcement officers, senior defense force officers and other senior national security personnel (not to mention our senior elected officials) are all fearful they and their families will be 'targeted' if they are seen to be pursuing serious initiatives aimed at erdicating the scourge of these gangs on our nation. That's the real problem we have in a nutshell, and 'Coward' Davis is the last one we can expect to do anything about it.

The Bahamas government (Ministry of Tourism) and Atlantis should jointly send this Russian oligarch a letter of apology for his mistreatment and invite him and his yacht back to The Bahamas for a taste of our true royal hospitality.

And if he accepts the invitation, when the last rope is tied to secure his mega-yacht at the Atlantis marina, our government should seize the yacht and turn it over to the U.S. government for a negotiated fair price (reward).

Anyone know when this corrupt and incompetent Davis led PLP administration will be adopting meaningful policies friendly to most Bahamian owned businesses, i.e., policies that are truly conducive to the organic creation of private sector jobs?

No matter the import or significance of the ends at the end of the day, the use of illegal means to achieve them is never justfiable. The Baha Mar Project was never a choice of two evils (Izmirlian vs CCP controlled enterprises) that could somehow justify government's very biased involvement in what ended up being an illegal robbery. Foreign courts will settle all of this soon enough, both in the U.S. and U.K.

The PLP want this case to go to trial so they can use the disclosures made in Court to 'beat up' on Bannister and others for how poorly BPL was run under the stewardship of the previous FNM administration.

Meanwhile, BPL is being even more poorly run under the current PLP administration with the very incompetent Sears not knowing what to do about BPL's impending meltdown.

**Bottom line:** In Fwreddy Boy Mitchell's twisted and sick mind, violent crime in our small nation is very much a "routine" thing.

After all, it's mainly illegal nationals and Bahamians doing all the murdering of each other and that's certainly no big deal in Fwreddy Boy's warped mind for the tourists coming to our shores.

The corruption is indeed very palpable and the views of Wayne Munroe and Rodney Moncur will always remain very much aligned. In fact, the only reason Munroe has not been fired by Davis is because Davis himself shares many of the same views as Munroe and Moncur. And that should be most terrifying for all of us, to say the least.
