As for Mr. Bowe's concerns that last week’s downgrade by Moody’s will “have some very practical implications”, including for financial institutions such as banks, pension funds, insurance companies and mutual funds that invest heavily in government debt, I would respectfully suggest the Central Bank of The Bahamas seriously consider exempting all (Bahamas domiciled) holders of Bahamian dollar denominated government debt from valuing such debt at any discount to face/par value. Bahamian dollar denominated government debt does not trade in the international debt markets.

We are one of the very few nation's left today with an exchange control and it is not for Moody's to abusively use our very own Bahamian dollar, that cannot be spent anywhere else in the world, to wreak havoc on the financial stability of our domestic economy.

> Moody’s has doubled down on concerns that the Government’s Budget revenue forecasts are “overly optimistic” and that its debt servicing payments will be higher than projected due to the rise in global interest rates.

LMAO. Moody's can afford to double down on their concerns simply because the grossly unfair lowering of their credit rating of our nation's debt **in and of itself** drives our debt service payments through the roof. It is the very reason why Moody's down-graded us in the first place, i.e., to put more money in the pockets of the foreign lenders whom they represent.

> Walter Wells said, “What makes manufacturing work here is the Government gives us concessions to be competitive against imported goods."

Who does Walter Wells think has paid for the excessively generous concessions enjoyed by his Caribbean Bottling - Coca Cola production facility over many, many years?!!!

The Bahamian people through higher government taxes, and the higher selling price of his bottling plant's products because of government imposed restrictions on less expensive imports, have for decades been subsidizing his bottling enterprise's operations. And Coca Cola around the world has a well-known reputation for greasing the right corrupt politicians to give their product brands an unfair pricing advantage over competing products.

Funny how Walter Wells and his business partners found it all too easy to mint good profits for decades with the help of overly generous government subsidies and restrictions on lower-priced competing imports, but now their self-professed extraordinary management skills are proving to be inadequate when the government and Bahamian taxpayers can no longer afford to prop up their business and its profits.

And to think the few Bahamians employed by Caribbean Bottling - Coca Cola relative to the enterprise's profits pocketed by Mr. Wells and his partners never justified the bottling plant's operations being subsidized to begin with.

liar, liar, liar.......pants on fire!!!!!

imf and World Bank will soon be telling puppet Davis how many in our over-bloated civil workforce and at our equally over-bloated government-controlled entities must be cut loose to fend for themselves. The writing is on the wall unless the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) decides to fund our nation's enormous deficit spending. And that's unlikely given that the CCP is usually in the "taking" business and not the "giving' business. The CCP only 'gives' to the corrupt representatives of the political ruling class in a country who facilitate its 'taking'. Just look at many African nations, Venezuela, and Cuba as good examples. With respect to Venezuela, the CCP has even relinquished its interest in that country's oil reserves in exchange for the U.S. government taking an unusually soft stance on the Taiwan issue behind the scenes.

Nothing but the blame game by brain-dead Munroe in a pathetic effort to mask his own gross incompetency and outright uselessness. If he's that unhappy with a court system run by corrupt Davis appointed CJ Winder, then perhaps he should take the matter up with Davis. LMAO

I hope you did not foolishly cast your vote in Sept 2021 for the PLP candidate who ran in your constituency on the basis of such a ridiculous promise.

For our very greedy and profiteering medical community, COVID-19 from day one was all about the ka-ching, ka-ching and even more ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching.

It is now all about maintaining the fear factor needed to keep unconsitutional "emergency protocols" in place in order to continue manipulating the masses by making them as subservient and submissive as possible. Our government (like the U.S. government) is still being manipulated by the very sinister and evil multi-billionaire oppressors who are engaged in the worst kind of human population control experiments ever imaginable.
