Nothing will change at BPL as long as the very greedy Snake is allowed to continue profiteering off of its customers as a result of the financial mess government has created.
Atlantis has much bigger things to worry about.....as does our entire tourism industry. North America is likely to soon enter what will be one of the most severe and long lasting recessionary periods ever. And we all know what that means for us here in The Bahamas.
> Mr Rolle, replying to this and other questions, asserted: “The Bahamas does not have a sovereign debt crisis. We’re not in sovereign debt distress. The Government has incredible leeway and flexibility to raise revenues if it needs to.”
LMAO. You can just hear the desperation in John Rolle's voice. He's much like a deer at night frozen still on a railroad track by the glaring light of an oncoming freight train. The financial wreckage headed the way of our country and its people is going to be cataclysmic to say the least.
Pray tell, what is BPL going to do when more than half of its customers must be disconnected because of their inability to pay their electricity bills?

Bigger problem is that government's incompetence opened the door for a super greedy vulture like Snake to establish an energy monopoly.
