Why is the Director of Communications in the Office of the Prime Minister, Latrae Rahming, telling us, the Bahamian people, what was budgeted for this ridiculously outlandish event rather than telling us the actual total cost of this most lavish and squandering event? Is he doing so because they failed to keep track of the actual costs, which no doubt greatly exceeded the budgeted amount?
Also, it's unseemly that Rahming would try justify our financially strapped country participating to such a great pretentious extent in this very costly Dubai extravaganza by basically saying the last FNM government did it so now we get to do it too. Clearly Latrae Rahming doesn't have too much upstairs!
Poor, down-trodden and struggling Bahamians are being played as fools by this Davis-led PLP administration. The spendthrift political elite are unabashedly living an ostentatious and extravagant life-style at the expense of the vast majority of Bahamians. And to think our financially strapped country has public school facilities and public health facilities that are starved of desperately needed financial resources.

These ridiculous testing requirements are all about ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching for the select few who are profiteering off of all of this non-sensical testing that has now been proven to serve no public safety purpose whatsoever. All of this testing has done absolutely nothing to address treating the risk of serious illness caused by variants of the Wuhan Virus.
All of the money being poured by government into testing should instead be used to ensure our public health system has an ample supply of the low-cost therapeutics now known to be very effective in fighting variants of the Communist China Virus.
Darrin Woods is doing absolutely nothing for the union members he should be looking out for. Truly pathetic.
Commodore King is politely acknowledging that RBDF officers are exposed to variants of COVID-19 as a result of their failing frontline efforts to address the ongoing invasion of our country by illegal Haitian nationals.
Repatriation flights of illegal Haitian nationals have all but stopped since the national general election last September and the shanty-town communities across our country are now experiencing explosive growth. Meanwhile, not a peep from Davis about the steps his administration are taking to address this existential crisis. He and his wife are obviously just too busy enjoying the high-life in places like Dubai.
