This project should have long ago been stopped dead in its tracks. The unscrupulous vulture Mirko Kovats thinks our country and its declining foreign exchange reserves are so desperate for FDI that he can get away with anything. He should be told "Thank you, but no" and then declared persona non grata.

Let Kovats find another small nation in the Caribbean to prey on. All Bahamians need to show this man that they have plenty of back-bone and no desire to be trampled on by his greed and great wealth. We have a serious shortage of land all over New Providence as it is, and the type, height and scale of The View Love Beach development project he is proposing is most unsuitable for the Love Beach area for way too many reasons that have already been repeatedly communicated to him.

Why hasn't our PM spoken up on behalf of the Bahamian people about this absurd project? Does Kovats now 'own' Davis?

Minnis buying the Lucayan Hotel property was never about it eventually becoming an economically viable resort in the hands of the right owner. Minnis bought it as a vessel to facilitate corruption on a massive scale that greatly benefitted Hutchison Whampoa, Royal Caribbean, and the owners of the Grand Bahama Port Authority. And of course Minnis, D'Aguilar and Scott, among others, made out like bandits for the role they played in seeing to it that the Bahamian people got royally fleeced to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Who in their right mind today would want to take a trip anywhere on one of these mammoth floating Petri dishes? Once it sinks in that these cruise ships are nothing but filthy pathogen laden incubators, they will go the way of the dinosaurs, and rightfully so. When that happens, the shares held by small investors in the Nassau Cruise Port will not be worth a penny. And small investors have already been warned not to expect any income on their shares for years. lol

The bio-warfare genie has been let out of the bottle and there is no way of putting it back in the bottle. History has shown time and time again that the greatest threat to all of mankind has always been the evil, sinister, power hungry and very greedy few among mankind. Brace yourselves, the worst is yet to come. And to think we all thought for decades that nuclear weapons would result in the demise of mankind.

Yup, just add this case to the huge pile of PF reports we are awaiting, many of which have been outstanding for decades. Just another one of the many reasons why vigilante law is taking over our country.

These low life thugs you speak of are the legacy of our corrupt political ruling class and their favoured cronies and financial backers, most of whom have only used their political power and influence to look after their own selfish and greedy interests for nearly 5 decades, leaving a large swath of our society to become hardened uneducated thugs preying on the innocent as their only means of survival. These very same thugs now make up a sizable and ever growing portion of our law enforcement officials, from police officers right on up to court judges.
